Selling Images Online in 3 Easy Steps

Step 1

Download and install ProStockMaster. Next, open a free account at Lightburner.com. Lightburner.com is our online version of PSM desktop software, which helps you to save time and traffic delivering images only once to be distributed to all destinations.

Define your stock photography agencies and other distribution channels with your Lightburner account. You can use predefined settings or define your private photography sales channels. Consult with Lightburner info how to do that. Note that you can configure any channel for automatic distribution, so once an image is uploaded to your account with PSM or with a SFTP client it will be sent there.

We recommend you opening a submitter’s account at every photo stock agency listed with Lightburner. You simply can sell more!

Once your Lightburner account is all set up, let PSM know your Lightburner credentials. Add your Lightburner username & password to PSM – use “Tools->Lightburner account” menu.

Step 2

In the main application window select an image, a set of images or a folder to be uploaded. Now add keywords, title and description. Use “Suggest!” button to get more relevant keywords. Note that with the built-in multilingual translation you can add keywords in 40+ languages!

Upload selected files: review the upload queues and hit “Yes” button.

That’s all, you are done! The images will go now to your Lightburner account. Assuming you have set up everything there for the automatic distribution you will see your images in all selected agencies within 24 hours or less. Typically you will have to visit agencies web sites and complete your submission by adding categories and model releases.
